• 26 May: left Indianapolis at noon, stopped for the night in Springfield, MO.
• 27 May: left Springfield at 9 AM, ran into a hailstorm at the OK-TX border, stopped for the night in Amarillo, TX.
• 28 May: left Amarillo at 9 AM, visited the Meteor Crater, stopped for the night in Flagstaff, AZ.
